Ben has been producing and exhibiting photography since his time at university, when selected to exhibit with the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in 2004. Since his graduation, Ben has gone on to exhibit in numerous shows and events nationally within the UK. These include shows and galleries such as the RBSA, Stroud House Gallery and The Herbert Art Gallery in Coventry. Ben has also exhibited as part of the Manchester Art Show, The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, London and is one of only two artists to be twice selected for the largest Midlands arts festival; New Art Birmingham in both 2005 and 2007.

Ben's artistic work is influenced by the Op Artists of the 1960s and he is a big fan of artists such as Bridget Riley and Victor Vasserely. He focuses on images that are made from his travels around urban areas, favouring architectural photography over other forms.

Ben's abstract style has caught the attention of the media many times, including local newspapers, Channel 4's Ten 4 magazine and BBC Midlands Today. He works as a commercial photographer and graphic designer. He lives in the Midlands with his wife Sophie.
